Sarah Sandidge is an Account Manager within the Credit Department at Pirelli Tire, LLC. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Shorter University in May 2016 and has been with Pirelli since August 2016, when she joined the company working as an assistant in the Health, Safety, and Environmental Department. In Pirelli HSE, she assisted with writing compliance procedures, performing risk analyses of the manufacturing areas, working to implement the DuPont program, and helping to develop controls for any work hazards. During this time, she discovered the greater purpose of her job at Pirelli: to help create a safe working environment to ensure that Pirelli Tire’s greatest asset, which is its employees, remain able to safely return home to their families and give back to their community in Northwest Georgia.

In June 2017, Sarah transferred to her current position in the Credit Department, and, although she is no longer working in HSE, she remains active as a Safety Champion for the Piazza, Pirelli’s office area. The role of Safety Champion includes assisting in organizing drills, helping to educate the Piazza team on proper safe working procedures, and serving as a First Aid/CPR certified presence in the offices. This integration of her previous purpose with her current position is part of why she has such an appreciation for Pirelli, as she continues to be a part of the larger Pirelli family even while serving in a different area of the company.

As an Account Manager, some of her main duties are to analyze and reconcile the accounts of Pirelli’s dealers and distributors, in addition to managing customer master data, account set up, and assisting in application of incoming payments. She enjoys how this position has allowed her grow and expand her knowledge of the company’s processes and see the “other side” of the manufacturing business, the side dealing with the finished product and the customers who enjoy that final product. Each day is a continuous learning experience, and Sarah is eager to grasp more knowledge and continue to grow in this position, in order to better serve Pirelli and its customers.
