Tansu Isik, Chief Executive Officer for Continental Tire the Americas, LLC, is responsible for business operations in North and South America, with manufacturing sites in the US, Mexico, Brazil and Ecuador.
Isik began his more than 20-year career at Continental as a Business Development Specialist in Turkey and worked his way through the organization – including becoming a member of the Investment Committee at Continental AG, providing strategic direction in investment portfolio decisions. While working in the APAC region as VP Key Account Management, he helped expand the customer portfolio in the region, which saw double-digit growth during his time there.
Prior to this appointment, Isik was the Head of Region South & Channels Fleet and OE Trailer at Continental Tires, overseeing the Tires Replacement Business in multiple countries and leading the Truck Tire Business in EMEA. While in the role, he helped strengthen Continental’s premium position in the market and spearheaded a digital business transformation for future-fitting the organization. Isik was also Head of Strategic Business Development and Global Marketing at Continental Tires, where he led global marketing, strategy, digital solutions, external affairs, and technical compliance organizations.
Isik holds an Executive MBA from Koç University, Turkey, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bilkent University, Turkey, and has also completed various executive programs at institutions such as INSEAD, Duke University, Ashridge University, and Notre Dame University. Isik is fluent in English and proficient in German. He and his wife have two children and reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
