Sheryl Wilkerson is Vice President, Government Affairs, Michelin North America, Inc. where she coordinates the company’s government relations activities for Canada, Mexico and the U.S. Previously, Ms. Wilkerson was President of Willow, LLC, a consulting firm offering government and regulatory affairs, strategic planning, business development, and public relations on issues involving telecommunications, wireless, spectrum, public safety, telematics, intelligent transportation systems and mobile health.

Ms. Wilkerson also served as senior vice president of regulatory and government affairs for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association and senior vice president of Strategic Planning and Corporate Services for Ygomi LLC. Prior to joining Ygomi, she served as Legal Advisor to former Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Michael K. Powell. She came to the FCC from ArrayComm, Inc., an adaptive smart antenna technology company where she was Vice President of Legislative Affairs. Prior to joining ArrayComm, Inc. she served as Director of the FCC’s Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs and as Special Counsel to the FCC’s General Counsel.

Ms. Wilkerson served as Staff Counsel to the Senate Commerce Committee Subcommittee on Communications, where she worked on major telecommunications reform legislation and as Legislative Assistant to the Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Telecommunications, Consumer Protection and Finance. Ms. Wilkerson also worked as an Attorney Producer for the Federal Judicial Center, the education and research agency for the U.S. Federal courts.

She has held leadership and advisory positions on public and private boards and associations including the Federal Communications Bar Association, Intelligent Transportation Society of America, Doorways, Executive Women’s Golf Association, and GreatCall.

Ms. Wilkerson received her Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Telecommunications and Afro-American Studies from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and U.S. Supreme Court Bars.
