Binh Dang

Inside Sales Manager
Atlanta, Georgia Corporate Headquarters

Kumho Tire U.S.A., Inc.

Binh Dang has been employed for the past three years as the Inside Sales Manager for Kumho Tire USA. Binh is originally from Southern California where he lived over twenty years. Binh and his family moved to Atlanta in 2015 when Kumho Tire USA relocated their headquarters to the Southeast. Binh and his family reside in Stockbridge, Georgia.

At the age of 18, Binh started his tire industry career working retail tire sales. Binh continued to build on his experience by moving from the retail channel to a local wholesale distributor. He contributes his passion for the tire industry to Sam Batanian, President/Owner, Kings Tire & Wheel in El Monte, CA.

Binh stated the following: “Working and Learning from Sam has given me a strong foundation and platform that has allowed me to further accelerate my tire career and I am forever grateful to Sam and his wife, Zepur Batanian for giving me the opportunity to do so.”

After years of working with Sam, Binh went onto work with different tire manufactures in sales and customer service. Binh stated, “We all know that excellent customer service is fundamental, but once you get down to the details of what goes into it, not everyone agrees. To some, good customer service is as simple as solving problems and finding solutions in a practical manner. To others it means overall pleasantness and politeness from those who represent the frontlines of the company. My job is to find a balance between both.”

With 15 years into his tire career, Binh believes the best part of his job is the relationships he has acquired with fellow coworkers and customers from all over the country. Binh has dedicated himself to provide the best customer service possible all while trying to maintain a good work life balance. “Working in this industry, takes a lot of time away from home. Often times, I am at work more than I am at home. I would not be able to do it without the understanding and support of my wife!”

And as for what the future holds for Binh, he does not see himself leaving the tire industry anytime soon.
