Larsen Cline is the executive assistant to the Sumter plant manager and communications associate for Continental’s Sumter location. In this role, Larsen is responsible for implementing and monitoring internal and external communications, supporting community and plant wide activities, maintaining media relations and providing general support to the Sumter management team.

Working with multiple levels of employees across the organization, Larsen is known for her strong interpersonal skills, relationship building and excellent attitude. Her commitment to her job, team, and the success of Continental and the Sumter facility are evident as she is an example of an employee who truly lives Continental’s core values Freedom to Act, Trust, Passion to Win and For One Another.

Larsen enjoys working for a large, international organization and appreciates the diversity amongst her colleagues and opportunities a global company provides.

Outside of work, Larsen represents Continental as a Tuomey Fellow as part of the ambassadorship program at the local hospital, Palmetto Health Tuomey. She also serves as a member of the Sumter County Museum Advisory Council.

Prior to joining Continental in January 2016, Larsen spent two years as the director of development for the American Heart Association in Sumter, Lee and Clarendon counties in South Carolina. Her main tasks were to spread awareness of the association, manage fundraising activities, engage in community support and facilitate corporate leadership. During her time with the American Heart Association, Larsen led the Sumter Heart Walk to the number two Heart Walk in the U.S. for a community of its size. In 2015, she was named Rookie of the Year for the American Heart Association’s Mid-Atlantic Region.

Larsen holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from the University of South Carolina, and a minor in Art History. She enjoys painting, cooking, reading, boating and gardening, and lives in Sumter, South Carolina with her husband, Jake.
