USTMA is the industry leader for promoting environmentally and economically sound options for tires that are no longer suitable for use on vehicles.

We regularly provide technical and policy information regarding several areas of end-of-life tire management. We also host scrap tire conferences for state and federal regulators, recyclers, industry and other stakeholders.

We started this work in 1990. Today, we collaborate with states, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the industry to reduce stockpiles and implement regulations that foster sustainable scrap tire markets.
